SENIOR PRE-SEASON TRAINING, SIGN-ON DAY AND LOCATION OF NEW CLUBHOUSE
12 January 2012

The Logan Saints have announced that pre-season training for the club's senior sides is due to kick off on Tuesday the 24th of January 2012 at 6.30pm. Training will be held at Kings Soccer Club, Soccer Drive (off Meakin Road), Slacks Creek.

All past and future players are encouraged to attend and ensure that they do everything they can to prepare for what is going to be big year for the Saints. Any potential players are encouraged to contact first-grade coach Doug Dry on 0431 042 906 if there are any questions or information required.

The temporary training grounds are just a step along the way to the shift to the custom-built rugby facility which the Saints will call home from 2012 into the future located at 200 Queens Road, Slacks Creek. As it stands, all that remains is for turf to be laid and allowed time to settle before being ready for use in the upcoming rugby season.

The first function to be held at the new grounds will be the club's annual sign-on day which is to take place over the weekend of 28 and 29 January 2012. The sign-on day is a great opportunity for both senior and junior players to come down to the new clubhouse to see where Logan will be playing rugby this year and sign up for what is sure to be a great season.

The Saints hope to field teams in all junior age groups from under 6's and upwards all the way to the first-division senior competition. There is also a team of 'golden oldies' for those over 35.

For those interested in more information, Mark Konecny can be reached on 0413 778 515 for questions about the senior club and Richard Mycock on 0412 957 682 about the junior club.
